Spherical YF3 Yttrium Fluoride is the chemical formula of YF₃, gray powder or crystal at room temperature. Dissolve yttrium oxide in hydrochloric acid, and chemically dilute it to 100 ~ 150g/L (by Y2O3).

Spherical YF3 Yttrium Fluoride products are gel-like substances with a melting point of 1387°C, a boiling point of 2230°C, and a relative density of 4.01. Insoluble in water and dilute acid.

Spherical YF3 Yttrium Fluoride film has a lower refractive index (refractive index is about 1.4), a wider transmission band (0.35 ~ 12μm), and has a higher refractive index than other fluorides (barium fluoride, calcium fluoride, etc.) The hardness makes the film widely used in the design of AR coatings on various substrates.
