Manganese Fluoride MnF2 is an inorganic compound with chemical formula MnF2, pink powder, highly toxic, soluble in acid and not easily decomposed. It is a raw material for kiln industry and non-ferrous metal welding. Sometimes used as a spectrally pure reagent.

The mixture of MnF2 and MnF3 can be obtained by the direct action of manganese, manganese carbide or manganese chloride and fluorine.

Manganese Fluoride MnF2 is a reddish powder. Density 3.98g/cm3. The melting point is 856°C. Soluble in acid. Insoluble in water, alcohol, ether. Red heat does not decompose.
