Source of Samarium Fluoride SmF3 products
Natural products are the precious wealth that nature gives to human beings. It has rich bone structure and good medicinal value. The total synthesis of natural products has always been a hotspot in organic chemistry research. In the synthesis of complex target compounds, new reagents and applications are often discovered. Samarium Fluoride SmF3 products are one of them.
Since their invention in 1977, Samarium Fluoride SmF3 products have been widely used in synthetic chemistry. The reactions mediated by Samarium Fluoride SmF3 can be divided into Barbier type, radical alkene/cyclization reaction type, furfural alkene, coupling reaction type, pinacol type and so on. Octahedral rings are a common skeletal structure in natural products, of which paclitaxel is the most famous one.
Since its discovery in 1977, Samarium Fluoride SmF3 has been widely used in organic synthesis. Satisfactory yield and stereoselectivity can be obtained by optimizing the substrate structure and reaction conditions (including auxiliary solvents, adducts, temperature, etc.).
However, Samarium Fluoride SmF3 products are rarely used in cascade reactions, and the reaction mechanism remains unclear. In fact, more impressive applications will be discovered in the future.
