Protective measures

Respiratory system protection: When the concentration of Zinc Fluoride ZnF2 in the air exceeds the standard, a gas mask should be worn. It is recommended to wear self-contained breathing apparatus during emergency rescue or escape.

Eye Protection: Wear chemical safety goggles.

Protective clothing: Wear appropriate protective clothing.

Hand Protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves.

Others: Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited at the workplace. After work, shower and change. Do not bring work clothes to non-working places, store contaminated clothes separately, and use them after washing. Practice good hygiene.

Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.

Eye Contact: Immediately lift the eyelids and rinse with running water for 10 minutes or with 2% sodium bicarbonate solution.

Inhalation: Quickly leave the scene to fresh air. Keep the airway open. Give oxygen if breathing is difficult. Once breathing stops, begin CPR immediately. seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Immediate gastric lavage if Zinc Fluoride ZnF2 is ingested by mistake. seek medical attention.

Extinguishing method: Zinc Fluoride ZnF2 is not combustible. Extinguishing media available around the fire.
