Precipitated Silicon Dioxide SiO2 has a wide range of uses, and its reinforcing properties are second only to carbon black. This feature is particularly advantageous in rubber products. Precipitated silica can also be used as a thickener or thickener.

In anti-corrosion coating formulations, Silicon Dioxide SiO2 is used as a thickening thixotropic and anti-settling additive.
