What is the corrosion resistance of Sodium Fluoride NaF?

[Abstract]:
Sodium Fluoride NaF inhibition test: After two identical specimens were fixed at the same time, two tanks of incubation solution were prepared. One of them was added with sodium fluoride to inhibit the activity of the enzyme.

Sodium Fluoride NaF

Sodium Fluoride NaF, white shiny crystal or white powder, is an ionic compound, colorless crystal or white solid at room temperature, chemical formula Naf. Relative density (specific gravity) 2.558, melting point 993 ℃, branch 1704 ℃, slightly soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, can corrode glass, dissolved in hydrofluoric acid to form sodium hydrogen fluoride, toxic and corrosive.

Sodium Fluoride NaF is slightly soluble in water, and increasing temperature has little effect on solubility. For example, 100g of water can dissolve 4g of Sodium Fluoride NaF at 0°C and 5g at 100°C. Sodium fluoride can be obtained by reacting calcium carbonate with hydrofluoric acid. Main application: phosphating accelerator in coating industry to stabilize phosphating solution, refine phosphating, and improve the performance of phosphating film. In the phosphating of aluminum and its alloys, Al3+, which has a very harmful negative catalytic effect, is blocked, so that the phosphating can be carried out smoothly. Commonly used in wood preservatives, agricultural pesticides, brewing fungicides, pharmaceutical preservatives, welding fluxes, alkaline zincate galvanizing additives and enamel, paper industry, etc.
